Respectfully, At what point, should any individual allow "street codes" hold them back from being successful, gain opportunity or access to wealth or resources? I'm not saying do anything and void your personal principles and man ethics. but alot of times we block blessings, don't network or bring street codes into a arena where street codes is not respected or bring a street mentality into a situation and get doors closed on us being from certain environments. So again my question is At what point, should any individual allow "street codes" hold them back from being successful?
Living by street codes has stopped alot of ppl from being doctors, lawyers, teachers, majors etc at some point we have to think bigger. The real power is in financial literacy, real estate etc. Those should have been some of the teaching and literature taught in gang meeting and I say that as a older GD.
I understand in rap image Sells, but the mentality has to slowly change and relearn in the process to aid and assist the folks around us.
I would have never thought about college if GD didn't eventually turn to Growth and Development from Gangsta Disciples and certain changes were implemented in the literature we were taught under the 6.

Sometimes paper chasing is clout chasing 100%. All money isn’t good money, especially if it’s chasing you to go against your own principles and morals. I can’t comment on what’s right or wrong considering I don’t live that type of life, but if we’re just making excuses because of “the bag” then I see a much larger issue here. This is basically people admitting they’ll go against their own beliefs for some money.
